Gorilla Tango’s Burlesque’s repertoire is quickly reaching critical mass. For the company stage manager, Busy Beaver, this means she’ll need to hire some more SMs! I’m looking to hire two female stage managers this month willing to train and work on (up to) eight shows, which run weekly Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Pay is a cut of ticket sales plus tips and a shift drink every night you work. There’s also the opportunity to work of-site events like No Tell Motel or conventions but these are not required.
The environment is fast-paced and applicants must be able to work under pressure, but the performers are great and work outside of the shows is minimal (unlike other SM jobs).
